Fix The Broken

So, I was sitting in my room watching course on leadership (Courses by Amal Fellowship). It is my study room where is used to study and it is a bit quiet and clean. I spend most of my time there doing university assignments and after office stuff.

Fixable

Following course directions to examine my rooms to see if there is any stuff which is not placed well or being broken or can be repaired. After looking into the whole room, I suddenly noticed a shoe of my sister which was a bit fancy just like girls like to wear. When I stare it, It was not looking as it should be. It had eyes placed on it and 1 eye was missing. So, it was giving a bit scary face. I searched for its missing eye. Luckily it was lying near to it.

So, then I searched in my mind what do I have right now that I can use to fix it. I remembered of my glue gun so I took it out from a cabin, give it some heat and started fixing the missing eye.

Glue Gun

I was a bit happy after fixing the shoe and telling this to my sister. She was too shocked after hearing this. She asked me what encouraged you to do this and are you all right?

Ideal State

I think if this activity was not to be done, I would not have to do this task as it is not noticeable. As it was a minor thing, if me myself had noticed it before I would have said “ye b koi issue hy”.

But now I am convinced of doing these small adjustments as it gives you satisfaction and your time is used in learning new things instead of scrolling on social media. Now instead of watching memes on social media, I would try to fix more things that are around me and needed to be repaired

We can relate this activity to leadership as, A leader notices smaller things and fix them properly and he is a learner too. A leader never says “Khaer hy dekha jay ga chal rha hy kaam chlny do” instead he would fix the things.
